The Willow Grove chapter of Toys for Tots has been distributing new holiday toys to children of all ages throughout our community for over ten years. With the enthusiastic support of your sponsors, donors, and volunteers and our organization has been ranked among the top five chapters in the United States.
Our 2007 statistics:
- Over 74,000 children in need received more than 160,000 toys for Christmas
- 173,000 toys were collected and donated
- 1,084 businesses were designated as drop off’s with more than 1,511 collection barrels
- Over $38,000 in cash donations assisted in purchasing more needed toys.
For three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign, and through special events in Bucks and Montgomery counties, Toys for Tots unites our community in one common cause – to deliver a message of hope to each and every child in need during the holidays.
Once again, SSgt Colette Begay invites you to join us in bringing joy to more children than ever before. This 2008 holiday season, Willow Grove Toys for Tots has increased our outreach goals. Our mission is to collect 200,000 toys and provide Christmas cheer to more than 75,000 children. Please join our campaign today:
- Donate Toys. Bring new, unwrapped toys to any of our collection sites.
- Volunteer. Helping hands are needed to assist in toy collection, sorting and distribution.
- Monetary Donations. Your generous cash donations-large and small, are used to purchase additional toys from selected retailers to ensure that every child receives a special Christmas gift.
